A few weeks ago, Brian and I launched a marriage series. We planned to discuss one topic each week in hopes it would open a conversation with young married couples online. We had every intention of being honest and open with all of you. We planned to lay it all out. Real.Married.Life.
But we failed.
Our time is limited. My work schedule takes most of my online time and Brian is juggling the kids at home. How could we encourage other couples when we can’t even muster enough strength to get to the computer?
That’s when it hit me.
We need to talk about the schedules in a marriage. How important are they to your well-being? It seems so trivial, right? Except that it’s not.
Being on the same page as your spouse when it comes to “time” is what will get you through each season in your marriage. This is especially true for busy families with young children. Our time is stretched so thin, I feel like one tiny bump in the road could possibly break us.
Have you ever felt like that? This week we’re going to make time to talk to you about time. Join the conversation on Twitter with hashtag #MarriageAppeal.
