How in the world did Easter just creep up behind us? This year is moving so fast and I can’t seem to keep up with the excitement of it all. I’ve been traveling like a crazy woman the last month and I don’t want all the chaos to cloud one of my FAVORITE times of year, Easter.
Besides Christmas, this is the one time of year that I absolutely adore. Not only because it’s time to celebrate the magnitude of my Christian faith, but because I get to shower my little ones with all KINDS of Easter goodies. We still do the Easter Bunny thing. The kids leave the baskets outside the door and when they wake up they are jam packed with trinkets, candy, books, and more. This year, I’ve got the perfect little toys from Richard Scarry’s BusyTown and I’m giving two sets away, but first I just HAVE to ask… What are your favorite Easter Basket stuffers for the kids?
Since the 1960’s, boys and girls around the world have grown up with Richard Scarry’s best-selling books about his busy world of iconic animal characters and their whimsical vehicles. With over 300 titles in the Richard Scarry library and over 150 million books sold, Richard Scarry is one of the best-selling children’s authors of all time. In fact, he has five books in the Publishers Weekly’s Top 100 List of All-Time Bestselling Children’s Books. His popular stories follow the adventures of Huckle and Sally Cat, Lowly Worm, Hilda Hippo, Pig Will and Pig Won’t in a very busy town, leading very busy lives. His characters have become household names that parents fondly remember and kids adore.
We had the chance at an up close and personal look at the Busytown toys and found them PERFECT size for Easter basket stuffers. They’re small, simple, yet a classic toy that kids will absolutely love.
I know you’re probably wondering if you can find these sweet toys at a store near you and here’s the good news… YOU CAN!
You can find Richard Scarry’s Busytown toys and books at places like ToysRUs. For more information visit www.busytownmysteries.com and be sure to look for Busytown on Facebook. They’ve got all kinds of fun Easter Giveaways on their page.
I just love the classic look of Richard Scarry and his Busytown. It kind of reminds of the toys I played with when I was a kid and to celebrate in that fact I’ve got two Easter prize packs to give away. Two lucky Momma Findings readers will win a surprise Busytown Easter gift pack that includes:
- 1 Busytown Small Vehicle Pack
