As a teenager, 15 years ago, I was so baffled at the fact that my little brother was enamored with Pokémon. It was this new phenomenon that adults didn’t understand, but children (especially boys) did! As a Mom, to two little boys now, I’m STILL in that place, the place where Pokémon lives, but understanding it? Does not. I wanted to dive into the world of Pokémon a little bit more so that I can enjoy this magical world with my children. From books, to clothing, to cards, and videos games, we’re the ultimate Pokémon family. I don’t know about you guys, but I want to spend time with my boys. If learning the Pokémon world is the only way, by golly I’m doing it! So, I sat down with Seth McMahill, Nintendo Pokémon expert to get the skinny on this enchanting world and what we can expect in the NEW PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond Wii game set to debut this month.
The iconic Pokémon video game series is still going strong, selling more than 228 million units worldwide since it was first introduced 15 years. I hope, through our video, parents can see that the world of Pokémon, while confusing, is enchanting, exciting, and fun to children and adults alike. Seth, gave me some great advice on learning the world of Pokémon with my boys. Big thank you to Seth, again, for taking the time to talk with us via Skype.
Just take the time to play the game with them. After our interview, I sat with my guys to play PokéPark: Pikachu’s Adventure and they were thrilled to show Momma where to go, who the characters are, and what each of them do. I’ll admit, I still have a lot to learn, but the time I’m spending with them is priceless.
The imaginative fun of the Pokémon franchise grows with the PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond game. Play as one of four different Pokémon and interact with many more as Pikachu and his Pals explore PokéPark and discover the secrets of a mysterious new world. Along the way, players can experience the fun of activities, battles, Attractions and more on their quest. Attractions can also be played in single or multiplayer mode. With a wide variety of challenges, the game offers nonstop adventure for Pokémon fans of all experience levels.
PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond will be available in stores nationwide on February 27th for the suggested retail price of $49.99. You can preorder your PokéPark 2 Wii Game on Amazon now!
