Welcome to another month of beauty! Tomorrow we’ll unveil the H-E-B Beauty Pick of the month (which is all about skin care by the way), but today I’m all about make-up, but more specifically creating smokey eyes.
As a Cattiva Cosmetics Ambassador, I’ve had the rare chance to experiment with lots of different color palette for my cheeks, lips, and, now, my eyes. Have you ever wanted to try the Smoky Eye look, but too scared to actually do it? I was always afraid that I wouldn’t be able to get it right. Well, Cativva makes it REALLY easy with just one of their mineral eyeshadow quads.
Seductive, light reflecting minerals keep your eyes looking young and bright with natural, powerful, anti-aging ingredients and color that lasts all day! Beautiful, refillable palettes compliment each other and allow you to create a custom combination compact. Talc & paraben free. Compact sold separately.
Imagine how you would feel teaching a pre-teen how to apply make-up. Now that it’s in your head, imagine me as that pre-teen. Uhhhhhh. Yeah. I don’t apply make-up very well, except for my usual brown/neutral tones. It’s just not something I learned or something I was ever interested in learning until this year.
This year, I’m doing all KINDS of experimenting with my make-up, hair, clothes. I want to spend a little more time, effort, and attention on me.
So, I learned how to create smoky eyes. What do you think?
4 Easy Steps to Creating Smoky Eyes
If I can learn, so can you. Cattiva Cosmetics makes it so easy.
- Use the white shadow all over your eye lid. I’m talking like ALL over up to the brow.
- Blend/Layer the bronze and black color into a v-shape into the crease right above the lash line. Don’t be scared to really blend and smoke it up.
- Use the the silver to highlight in the corner, crease, and under the eye to make them really pop.
- Add on your eyeliner and use a sponge to smoke it up with the black shadow.
How many of you guys have tried creating the Smoky Eye look? I was so nervous, but I think it works great for parties or evening dates with my guy.
Look for the Cattiva mineral quad eyeshadow in a variety of palettes including the one above that I used for smoky eyes for the suggested retail price of $32.00 at www.cattivacosmetics.com.
