My two boys, ages 8 and 4-yrs-old, have this obsession. There is just something about collecting and trading Pokemon cards. Do your children do the whole “Pokemon thing”? In the beginning, it bugged me… like REALLY bugged me. How could an obsession like this be healthy? Today, however, I feel it’s really brought the two boys together and given them common ground to bond, which can be VERY hard for 8 and a 4-yr-old brothers.
So, when I was asked to check out the new craze for kids, Gogo’s Crazy Bones, I knew this was right up our alley and the boys would go… well… crazy! In fact, we didn’t just “check them out”, we had the ultimate Gogo’s Crazy Bones party.
Gogo’s are small colorful characters that come in hundreds of colors and designs, each one with a unique name, design, personality and special ability. Gogo’s were inspired by games from ancient Greece where children played by bouncing and throwing sheep knuckle bones. Today’s Gogo’s are reminiscent of old school favorites such as marbles and jacks, with a modern twist! Each Gogo has a unique number for collecting and is designed so you can hold and throw with one finger. Kids have fun collecting, trading and playing with Gogo’s Crazy Bones!
Thanks to Child’s Play Party, we gathered our friends and had TONS of fun with Gogo’s Crazy Bones.
So, what exactly do Gogo’s Crazy Bones look like?
Well, that’s the beauty of it. There are so many of these guys! Really, Gogo’s come in 80 different variations and each variation comes in 5 different colors. Out of ALL the packs of Gogo’s we opened at the party, we only came across TWO that were the same. There are also 15 wanted gogos that are rare, but not as rare as the 5 MOST wanted Gogo’s. Serious collectors will work REALLY hard to find them.
How do you play with Gogo’s Crazy Bones?
I wondered the same thing. Do you play games? Do you simply collect and trade? I was SO confused, but after doing a little reading in the sticker albums, the possibilities are endless! We happen to like Bowling the best, since we were playing with kids 8 and under. We thought it would be best to keep it simple.
Is collecting Gogo’s easy?
With the sticker album, you have the gateway to ultimate collecting tools for Gogo’s Crazy Bones. Inside the book you’ll get an overview of Gogo’s, scoring guide, game ideas, and an organized way to organize and learn about each and every Gogo you own. My 8-yr-old son enjoyed the collecting more than the playing games. He’s ALL into it. Seriously, yo.
Still not real sure what to expect? Take a look at Gogo’s Crazy Bones in action!
We want to thank Child’s Play Parties for allowing us to discover a fun new toy and share with our friends. Gogo’s Crazy Bones is perfect for not only boys, but girls too!
Note: Gogo’s Crazy Bones contain small parts and are not suitable for children under 4.
You can buy Gogo’s Crazy Bones at stores such as Walmart, Target, Walgreens and even online at Amazon.com. Prices vary.
