Breakfast, for us, is probably the most challenging meal of the day. I’m tired. They’re tired. The morning is left with the same options day in and day out. Everyone is in a rush to get out the door and I’m left wondering if my children had a balanced meal to get them through a morning of learning in class.
Well, thanks to Mommy Parties, I’ve learned quite a few recipes using Nutella, a hazelnut spread, that my kids will love. Actually, it’s one of our go-to spreads already because my youngest is allergic to peanuts. So, on a mission to “spread the word” (no pun intended), we hosted a Nutella Party for our friends. Wanna take a look?
Nutella (pronounced “new-tell-uh”) is a tasty unique spread from the combination of roasted hazelnuts, skim milk, and a hint of cocoa. Nutella has no artificial flavors or preservatives and be used on a variety of breads.
Thanks to Mommy Parties, we were lucky enough to throw a small Nutella party, to let your friends know about he benefits of a healthy breakfast and shower them with a few Nutella goodies. Check it out (I put my kids to work. Don’t Judge.)
My children were busy putting together bag for our guests which included Nutella Sample Packs, coupons, tumbler mugs, spreaders, breakfast tip cards, and nutritional information. They EVEN helped me make snacks using the Nutella jar we were sent for the party. Mmmm… Nutella on whole wheat bread. Really, there isn’t anything better. Add a cold glass of milk and I’m in heaven.
While we enjoyed our snacks, us Mommas, talked to the kids about what they like to eat for breakfast and what they DON’T like to eat for breakfast. We also learned a few great Nutella recipes, but most of all, had a really great time.
At the end of the party, Moms left knowing a little bit more about their child’s breakfast preferences and children left with a new favorite pantry staple. I, for one, learned some really yummy recipes using Nutella. Since we’re not able to eat Peanut Butter, it’s our next best option making it perfect for school lunches too!
