Recently, I took part in The Wisk Project, where I experimented with laundry detergent. We fought all kinds of stains including grass and ketchup. In the coming weeks, I’m putting two more laundry detergents to the test in my Science Lab, but today I want to talk about bringing that awesome laundry fresh scent into your kitchen while doing dishes.
Now, everything you love about Gain is available for your dishes. With three refreshing scents, your washing machine MIGHT get a little jealous. I got to try the Gain original scent dish soap, which came wrapped up in a “Sniff Sniff Hurray” package from My Blog Spark. How did it fair? Will I be adding it to my new kitchen regimen? Or should you stick with the laundry room?
At last the irresistible scent of Gain comes to dishwashing. A fantastic clean with a great scent experience.Rinses away quickly and easily. Scent you know and love from Gain. Priced right for any budget.
- Citrus Splash
- Apple Mango Tango
As I mentioned above, I received not only a bottle of the NEW Gain Dish Liquid Soap, but I also received a few goodies to boot. Check it out:
This was actually a REALLY cool package that came with three colorful Gain t-shirts, 3 Walmart gift cards, and a sample of the liquid dish soap. The best part? It applauses when you open it! Oh, I had a blast opening and closing this box, just like a kid.
So, how did it fair? Well, I tried it while rinsing my dishes and absolutely love the scent. I’ll even go as far to say that this, by far, is the best smelling dish soap I’ve even had in my sink. The scent is enough to make your dirty dishes smell a whole heck of a lot better, but it’s not too strong where it’ll give you a headache. Just sayin’.
Also, the consistency of the soap itself wasn’t too thick or thin. Actually, it was almost perfect and left my dishes really clean and my kitchen smelling fresh.
Through my use of Gain Dish Soap, I found it works wonderfully when rinsing dishes or cleaning light messes, but it’s not as strong as I’d like when fighting grease. So, keep that in mind when using it.
All in all, I’m lovin’ the new scent and can’t wait to try the Apple Mango Tango, because let’s face it. The name is cool. The fact that it’s not as strong against grease, isn’t too much of a factor because I usually double wash. Rinse and scrub in the sink and then wash in the dish washer. Call me anal, but there it is.
Gain Dishwashing Liquid, now available in the dish aisle at your local retail store such as Walmart for the suggested retail price of $2.49. For more information about Gain dish soap and other Gain products visit. www.ilovegain.com.
