Thanks for joining in the HEB Meal Maker Challenge with me. I’ve been lucky enough to be 1 of the 10 bloggers in this challenge. Are you wondering who else joins me? I know you are. Well, HEB has all these awesome women posted for you on in their Blogger Line-Up. Recognize any familiar faces?
Okay, now that I’ve update you on who else is rockin’ the Meal Maker Challenge, I want to talk about After-School snacks. My children are just starving when they get off that bus. There’s something about small desks, books, and the smell of the inside of a school bus that makes them run as fast as they can straight into my kitchen. Today, I’ve got a few of their favorite After-School snacks, maybe you’d like to try ’em?
I’ve got three small children. One very intelligent Third Grader, one very inquisitive First Grader, and one VERY energetic 3-yr-old. All of their personalities are polar opposites (if that’s even possible three ways). So, today, I’ve got three snacks for three kids, your Three for Three.
For the quiet, yet intelligent child:
My oldest is the epitome of shy and quiet, but he is a brainiac if I ever knew one. He loves Computers Math, and Science. With so much knowledge in his head, he’s all about staying on task. He craves carbs and loves finger food. So, our pick is a plate of Breadsticks and Artichoke Dip.
For the creative, artsy child:
My middle child has one of the most creative minds out there. She loves Art, Reading, and Crafts. There’s no holding her back when it comes to trying new things. So, we opt for an array of fruit of Orange Slices, Grapes, Strawberries, and Bananas. Aligning fruits in a fun mosiac picture creates a bold, colorful picture she loves.
For the energetic, sports minded child:
My 3-yr-old loves when his brother and sister get home from school. Although he won’t admit it, he misses them during the day, but he’s also excited to sit down with good company to a fun snack. He’s all about the fun and energy. So, we opt for a Snack Pack pudding cup, topped with Reddi Wip Cream, and sprinkles.
In-Store Combo Loco: Buy Reddi Wip, get a free 4-pack Snack Pack Pudding
What’s your child’s personality? Do they opt for the sweet or salty? Care to share any of your family’s favorite After-School snack? Oh! Don’t forget to enter to nominate a family you’d like to help for BackToSchool. You’ll receive one HEB/Conagra Prize pack for yourself and the family you nominate.
