Tuesday, I braved the heat and humidity all for three things: Great music, great fellowship, and a great dinner with my best friend. I, somehow, convinced him it would be worth it to drive from Baytown to Kemah to spend time with me and enjoy KSBJ’s Summer Concert Series Boomin’ by the Bay. Or was it him that convinced me?
Either way, we enjoyed a lot of fun over a great dinner and enjoyed watching young Christians unite together in prayer and music. Next week I vow to get there early and I vow to sign my best friend up for the Youth Pastor’s Appreciation Dinner. He’s a busy man so we shall see.
So, I couldn’t go another week without letting all of you awesome locals know about the Concert Series. Boomin’ by the Bay is hosted by my favorite radio station KSBJ every Tuesday night on the Kemah Boardwalk. This is a FREE (Yes, FREE! So, bring the whole family) concert with amazing Christian Artist.
This week KJ52 rocked it and showed us exactly how to wear our Sunglasses at Night. It was a lot of fun, but as I said before I gotta get there earlier next time. This was my view:
Note to Self: Get there early to get a better view and never let your best friend hold your license so as not to have to carry your purse. It MIGHT just end up on Facebook. Umm.. Yeah. Thanks Kevin.
Schedule for July:
If you missed the concert this week, check out who will be boomin’ next week.
Hawk Nelson ft. Revive
July 13 | 7:30 PM
Seventh Day Slumber
July 20 | 7:30 PM
July 27 | 7:30 PM
Youth Pastor Appreciation Dinner:
Not only is KSBJ putting on some awesome concerts this month, but they are also giving appreciation to all those awesome Youth Pastors before the concert. My red-headed friend is one of those who deserves such appreciation. Now, I just gotta get him there.
If you know a Youth Pastor please sign him up and let him know about it. 89.3 KSBJ is building a new radio station for 12-24 year olds demographic and they’d like to pick the brain of all these amazing guys.
For more information:
I’ve included quite a bit of info for you guys, however, it’s all listed at www.ksbj.org. There you can learn more about the concert series and all the awesome events coming to the Houston area.
