A few days ago I let you guys know about this AWESOME thermometer to help you during the Cold & Flu season. It will definitely be a sanity saver when you’re trying your best to help your children fight sickness, however, what do you do when your children have a severe allergy or sickness, year round, such as Diabetes or a Food Allergy?
Most of you know that my toddler, Rudy, has a severe allergy to peanuts. It was extremely scary the day we found out and rushed him to the ER. After his follow up appointment, my Pediatrician recommended purchasing a medical ID bracelet. The few she showed me were quite boring and I figured, my son doesn’t go to preschool or daycare as of now, so I’ll pass, until I feel the need to buy one. In all actuality, I was thinking, There has GOT to be a better, FUN, way to let others know of his allergy. Like I said, the tags she showed me were quite boring and I knew he would NEVER keep it on.
Well, I was completely amazed and pretty excited when I was introduced to Lauren’s Hope jewelry. They specialize in Medical ID jewelry for the whole family: Women, Children, AND Men. I can see how it can be embarrassing for some to show the whole world that they have diabetes or something of that nature, but with fashionable jewelry it makes it look “cool”. Take a look:
You can pick from a variety of styles such as Dog Tags, Bracelets, Necklaces, Earrings, and Charms and have them engraved with your particular information. In our case, it would have Severe Allergy to Peanuts. For every occasion or fashion, Lauren’s Hope has the perfect item to match. You’re even covered with different Holidays! Halloween is just around the corner and how cool would it be to lay this on your Trick-Or-Treater’s little wrist?

Well, I’ve got a little surprise for all you Mommas fighting such illnesses with your children. I’ve got an extra bracelet for one lucky reader. There are two to choose from so pay careful attention to the options.
If you are chosen as the winner you can choose from either the mood changing bracelet with an engraved Diabetes Tag (this is sized for a small girl) OR if your child suffers from a different medical condition you can choose the red adjustable bracelet which you can personalize yourself with useful information pertaining to their illness.
How to Win
All you have to do is head over to Lauren’s Hope Website and look around. Then, come back here and tell me what medical condition your child, grandchild, or neighbor suffers from AND what items you’d like to have for him/her. That’s It!
