My 4 year old daughter seems to be “in the know” when it comes to new products. Don’t ask me how because she isn’t in preschool, doesn’t have dance classes, and her skills of reading magazines or newspapers are limited. Obviously, her
out of control moderate T.V. time is influencing the products she begs me to buy every time we go to the grocery store.
What new innovative product did we bring home this time? Keebler Townhouse Flipsides Pretzel Crackers. Try saying that 5 times!
These are located in the cracker aisle if you’re curious. I have to throw that in because the last time we were looking for Cheetos Crackers they were in the chip aisle. First off, my kids were rather impressed with this magic cracker. “How can it be a cracker AND a pretzel Mom?!!” They have pictures on the back with how to “dress” them.. you know.. drizzle it, dunk it, top it, or munch it.
I bought the cheddar flavored box and was interested to see how these would taste. Ready for it? It’s okay. It’s not wonderful or earth shattering, but it’s okay. First off, it tastes like an over baked Ritz cracker with a hint of salt/pretzelish taste after a few seconds of chewing.
It’s really weird that my opinion of this products is rather “stuck in the middle”. I’m not sure if I hate them or love them. I’d say they are worth buying and trying them yourself.
Taste: Unique, crunchy, a bit salty
Originality: I haven’t seen a cracker like this before
Functionality: This a great cracker to stack with ham/chicken salad, anything you want really. It’ll hold it well.
Kids: Approve, they love ’em!
Momma: Approves till I say otherwise. This is a hard one. 🙂
