We go through about 8-10 kitchen towels a day. Yes, my children have so many spills or downright messiness that it’s hard to keep them all clean. That’s why I was rather ecstatic when I got a free sample two pack of Clorox Freshcare Towels in the mail through Clorox Mom Wire.
The samples that I received were white with blue stripes and I absolutely loved it. All my towels are blue and white as I love that combination. They are also available in white/tan. These towels are to be washed in Clorox Bleach. Each time you wash, the bleach activates antimicrobial protection. This protects your towels from odor causing bacteria.
Initially, I really didn’t understand the concept here. They look like regular kitchen towels and I was merely excited that they were free. I washed them and tried them, didn’t see much of a difference until I compared them to my other kitchen towels. They were fluffier, softer, and smelled well… fresh.
I probably won’t buy these unless I have a coupon, but that’s just me and my frugal ways. Although, after reviewing their website I see that they come in dish towel size. Now, that is where I need the odor causing bacteria protection!
Functionality: Very absorbent
Concept: Confusing to understand initially
Kids: Approve because they can use as many towels to clean up their mess
Momma: Approves, but probably wouldn’t buy unless it was a good deal
